Neugier , released on the Super Famicom in 1993, is an action & adventure game about Duke, the son of Count Wein of Neugier. Duke's homeland was attacked by pirates led by a mysterious demon named Ord, prompting him to return and uncover the truth behind the attack.
In Neugier , players control Duke as he fights enemies with his melee weapons and uses a "throw chain" ability to destroy objects or push enemies into walls. The game also features jump mechanics and the ability to equip armor found in dungeons, adding depth to the gameplay experience.
