The Pause menu will appear when you press the START Button. This will pause the game. Select Continue game to return to the game.

Status Values of your Horse
In the lower left corner of the stable is a permanent overview of your horse's condition. The 4 gauges indicate your horse's status relating to Trust, Fitness, Hunger and Thirst, and Hygiene. A longer bar means that the status of your horse in this particular area is fine, but a short bar indicates that you must take more care of your horse in this area!
The time is also displayed here. Each new day starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.
Trust
Horses are shy animals by nature. It is essential to handle them with great care to win their trust. The best thing to do is to give them a lot of tender loving care every day, along with the occasional treat.
Fitness
Your horse requires a large amount of exercise to become strong, fast and have lots of stamina. But you must be careful, as the horse may fall sick if it is overworked! When you ride off with your horse, you should start slowly and not launch into a gallop immediately. Otherwise your horse could pull a muscle.
The gauges show how much energy your horse has (longer bar = fit; shorter bar = exhausted). But don't be deceived: your horse may still be in need of exercise, even though the gauge appears full!
Hunger and Thirst
The right food is also part of good care. A careful balance is the best advice for your horse. High-energy food (i.e. oats) will quickly satisfy your horse, while fruit and vegetables contain essential vitamins. To aid digestion, the diet should contain a sufficient quantity of dietary fiber, which is largely found in hay.
If you over-feed your horse over a long period of time, it may start to gain too much weight. It is better to feed it regularly than too much at once! You should also make sure that your horse drinks enough water.
