Astroblast

AstroBlast is a plain space shoot'em up for the Atari 2600 in which the player controls a laser base that slides horizontally along the bottom of the screen, firing at incoming asteroids, enemy ships and pulsars. The game emphasizes fast-paced, reflex-based shooting and offers both joystick and paddle control options, a rarity on the platform. It is essentially a clone of the arcade title Astro Fighter, extending the classic Space Invaders formula.
