Samba De Amigo is a remake of the original version for the Dreamcast , featuring the same characters, including the main character, Amigo, and many of SEGA's past creations. The game includes 40 of the original songs, as well as newer tracks, with the ability to download more through the Wii's internet connection.
The gameplay involves using the Wii-remote and Nunchuk to shake controls at specific times to complete stages. This replaces the classic maracas used in the original version. The game offers various modes, including Quick Play , Career , Single-Player , Multi-player , and multiplayer modes like Love Love mode, where two players must sync up their movements for maximum points. The game also features online capabilities, allowing players to download songs and track their progress on online leaderboards.
