Apex is a racing game where you own a car factory and use one of its prototypes for racing. The twist is that the prototype can't be designed individually - you have to choose between three options. These options affect speed, brakes, and acceleration. Your goal is to improve sales figures, which serve as ranking points in the game. As your sales figures increase, you unlock new prototypes and car classes.

Gameplay involves racing through 50 courses, competing in various race categories, and sometimes solving special challenges. You can also play an arcade mode where you can compete against another player in a single race.
