Midtown Madness 3

The game takes place in two cities: Paris and Washington D.C. Paris offers more open-ended racing, suitable for beginners, while Washington features narrower streets, sharp turns, and other obstacles. Players can choose from over thirty licensed vehicles, each with its own speed, handling, and acceleration characteristics.

On Xbox Live, players can participate in various multiplayer games, including Capture The Gold, Hunter, and Tag. These games offer different gameplay experiences, such as team-based racing and chase-style gameplay. Additionally, the game supports voice chat and allows for downloadable content.
