Sega GT Online is an online update of Sega GT 2002 , released on the Xbox console in 2004 . The game allows players to race 165 cars from different eras, including classic models from the 1950s. In the game's Gt 2002 mode, players must earn money and prizes by winning races, which can be used to purchase better vehicles.
The gameplay features a variety of modes, including Chronics , where players can compete in races with set checkpoints, and Gathering , a new mode that includes challenges such as license tests and racing line trials. Completing these challenges unlocks new cars for purchase in Gt 2002 mode.
In the game's online multiplayer mode, players could participate in races with other human players or trade parts with them. However, since Xbox Live is no longer available, this feature is currently inaccessible.
