WWE All Stars , a wrestling game, is seen as a successor to WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game . Unlike simulation-based games like WWE SmackDown vs. Raw , it offers a more arcade-oriented gameplay with elements of fighting games and over-the-top moves.
The gameplay in WWE All Stars is combo-based, similar to versus fighters. Players can use popular wrestlers from its time, such as Triple H, The Undertaker, and John Cena, as well as WWF wrestlers from the past like Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart.
WWE All Stars includes a Path Of Champions mode where players can choose a WWE Legend or Superstar to become a champion in one of three titles: WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, or WWE Tag Team Champions.
