Trollz: Hair Affair!
is a minigame compilation based on the animated television series produced by DIC Entertainment Corporation. It features five teenage "trollz", Amethyst, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, and Onyx, who manage their day-to-day high school lives with the help of their magic. Each character is tied to a different minigame: Topaz has Watch the Hair , in which she shrinks down and climbs through her friends' hair to untangle knots while dodging frizzies and Snarf; Sapphire has Smarty Trollz , a memory-matching game; Ruby has Trollz Dance , a rhythm game; Amethyst has Flying Spell , an aerial sidescroller that also involves shooting enemies while managing the skoot's energy; and Onyx has Spell Beadz , a Puzzle Bobble clone. Each minigame also features collectible power-ups, with each one doing something different depending on the game. The gameplay is affected by the difficulty setting chosen at the beginning of the game (easy, medium, or hard).
The gameplay is easy to pick up and fun to play, making it accessible to players of all ages.

This is a story-driven casual game where players assist the BFFL in navigating a magical day by completing levels of five distinct mini-games. As the narrative progresses, the gameplay becomes increasingly challenging, requiring players to master these activities to advance the plot. Users can practice in the Boom Room to improve their skills and unlock rewards, with their progress automatically saved.
Story
Story Mode
As you learn about the BFFL's magical day, you get to help them play through the story by completing many levels of five fun mini-games. The games get harder as the story progresses, so hang in there - the boys need your help!
The game will automatically remember where you leave off in the story.

Go to the Boom Room to practice the mini-games if you get stuck.

Change the game's difficulty setting in the Options menu.
Boom Room
This part of the game lets you pick your favorite mini-games to practice or play just for fun. There's a high score list for each game, so you can measure your progress.
Also, if your score is really awesome, you can unlock new clothing and earn Trollz™ for Trollz.com!

How to Play
STARTING THE GAME
Press START on the title screen to begin your game.
If this is your first time playing, enter your name using the on-screen keyboard and choose a difficulty level: Easy, Medium, or Hard. (Tip: Young gamers may want to start off with Easy!) If you have already started a game, you can continue it from this screen.
You can always go to the Options screen to change the difficulty. When you begin, tutorial screens will show you the most important parts of the game. Take your time to navigate through them, or zip on through-the choice is yours.
THE STORY
Welcome to Trollzopolis™, where fun and fashion always have a magical twist. At the center of it all are the five Best Friends for Life (BFFL) - Amethyst, Topaz, Sapphire, Ruby, and Onyx. These Trollz™ girls share everything, including their newfound magical powers.
In *Trollz™: Hair Affair™*, the cool freshman boys have been falsely accused of cheating. This means they might be sent to military school and have their beautiful hair shaved off. It's up to the Trollz™ girls to save them.

Can you beat your high score? Can you earn enough points to get some Trollars™ to spend on Trollz.com?
PROFILES
Learn about each of the five Trollz™ girls and even change their outfits. Use Left and Right on the +Control Pad to choose a different girl and read her profile.
Using the Outfitter, you can change the top, pants/skirt, and shoes for the selected Trollz™. You can win more super-chic outfits throughout the game.
NOTE: The Trollz™ show off their personalities with their individual poses. Watch Topaz twirl, Ruby give attitude, and more.
EARN TROLLARS™
Playing the mini-games in the Boom Room is more than just fun - it's rewarding! When you score a pre-determined number of points, you'll be awarded codes.
These codes can be entered on the Trollz™ website, www.trollz.com, where they can be redeemed for TROLLARS™ to spend on the site. Earned TROLLARS™ codes are saved for you in the Options menu.
MINI-GAMES & BFFL COOPERATION
Each Trollz™ girl has her own mini-game. But they - and you! - aren't playing solo. You can always call on one of the BFFL to help you with her magic and power you up. That's what friends are for.
For example, Topaz can call on Sapphire's magic to briefly freeze enemies in place in the Watch the Hair mini-game. And Amethyst can call upon Topaz in the Flying Spell game to befriend enemies. Since there are five games with five BFFL power-ups each, that's 25 different powers to play with.
As the story progresses, you'll play different versions of each game. You can also just go straight to the Boom Room to practice the mini-games or play any time, as long as you want.
WATCH THE HAIR
Topaz, the fashionista, is also great with hair. Topaz will use her magic to shrink to the size of an ant and travel onto the very hairdos of the other Trollz™ to find out what's causing their bad hair days. It's up to you to help Topaz fix her friends' hairdos before the Frizzies and Snarf get you.

A Button: Untangle hair. (Some tangles may require multiple tries!)

TROLLZ DANCE
Ruby can really step in this mini-game, and she does it with attitude. In Trollz Dance you match the rhythm of the falling patterns with the groove of the beat.
Easier settings have fewer patterns and fewer symbols to match. Harder settings have more complicated patterns and more symbols. Diva-licious! Unlock and dance as all five Trollz girls in the Boom Room.

SPELL BEADZ
Onyx challenges you to line up her Spell Beadz by shooting them at each other using magic. When a Spell Bead lands in place with at least two other beadz of the same color, they make a match and clear away.
After some time, another row drops down. If the beadz touch the bottom of the screen, you'll have to try again. Don't forget - the BFFL girls can help you with their magic.
CONTROLS

A Button: Launch Spell Beadz.
•
B Button: Swap the current launcher bead with the next one.
•
+Control Pad Left or Right: Rotate Beadz launcher.
•
L Button: Select BFFL Power.
•
R Button: Use BFFL Power.
