Hybris

The gameplay is for one player, allowing you to control either J.P. Maverick or K. Lovett as they navigate their scout ship around the screen at will. Your goal is to shoot everything that moves while outmanoeuvring enemy fire. You'll contend with spiralling waves of alien enemies moving into the play area from multiple directions, stationary gun turrets, and other surface installations that periodically spew projectiles.

Throughout the game, you can collect power cube bonuses that will upgrade your scout ship's strength and firepower. Each upgraded ship will become more visually impressive in real-time. You'll also have control of a smart-bomb feature to help you in sticky situations.
