Ore no Yome: Anata Dake no Hanayome is a romance adventure game that simulates married life. The story begins after the protagonist confesses his feelings to a girl he loves at the end of high school. He then starts dating and eventually gets married. Both the protagonist and his wife are nameless characters, allowing players to customize them. Before starting the game, players select their potential girlfriend, who will become the protagonist's wife.
The gameplay involves various events that take place in a scene, such as quarreling with the wife, making up, or going on a romantic dinner. These events are presented as a visual novel through background images and on-screen dialogues. Players can also use their calendar to schedule events as time passes. The game features several modes that affect the relationship between the protagonist and his wife, including event scenes, "Contact Heart" mode for checking the current status, "Coordinate" mode for changing clothes and accessories, and mini-games like playing cards or QTE games.
