Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3 takes place after Ty's previous adventure, where he must navigate six months into the future to find his team scattered across Southern Rivers. The Quinkan have invaded, and the only way to stop them is to reunite Ty's team members and defeat the mysterious Quinking.
Night of the Quinkan offers a mix of action and adventure gameplay as players control Ty. He can use his biting abilities or boomerangs for ranged attacks, which can be customized with different chassis and special Bunyip Stones.
The game features various robotic mechs that Ty can choose from, including the Shadow or Extreme Bunyip, Crabmersible, and Gunyip. Players can also participate in cart races to earn powerups and additional opals, the game's currency.
