Super Pro Football

The game features only two teams, the Home Team and the Visiting Team, both with unique colors - orange and blue. The quarterbacks are colored differently from the rest of their team: red and dark blue for the Home and Visiting teams respectively. Before starting a match, players can select whether they want to play as human or computer-controlled opponents, and choose their difficulty level, either Rookie or Super Pro.

Before playing, players can access various options and planning strategies to aid in their gameplay. The Defensive team has options such as Formation, Tactic, Timeout, Stats, Controls, and Break. Formations can be changed during gameplay before the opponent's team kicks the ball. The Offensive team has similar options with additional features like hiking, kicking, passing, and running. Controls are mostly limited to the control wheel, but more involved in offensive play.

Gameplay is viewed from a top-down perspective and scrolls left-to-right as the game progresses. With nine formation options for both teams, players can experiment with different strategies to outmaneuver their opponents. Overall, Super Pro Football offers a unique blend of football action and tactical planning on the Intellivision console.
