Emotionally scarred after being taken by the evil Moon Bear King, Kutaro sets out on a perilous journey to escape the king's castle and rescue his fellow little comrades. With the help of a mysterious flying cat and magic scissors called 'Calibrus', Kutaro must use his wits and cunning to overcome obstacles.
Puppeteer is an action-packed side-scrolling platformer that can be played in both 2D and 3D. The game's puzzle-solving elements revolve around collecting and carrying multiple heads, which can be picked up and switched with ease. Players must navigate through levels, avoiding enemies and hazards that threaten to send Kutaro's head flying.
The game features a unique dual-control system, allowing players to control both Kutaro and his companion simultaneously using an analog stick for each character. The companion can examine objects, collect moonsparkles, and pick up heads, adding a new layer of depth to the gameplay experience. With seven acts and three 'curtains' (levels) each, Puppeteer presents itself as a charming and challenging game.
