Yakuman , product_name , is a digital version of the Chinese game Mahjong, played similarly to other mahjong games. For the two-player mode, a Link Cable is used. The game was one of the original four launch titles for the Game Boy to be released exclusively in Japan.
The gameplay involves creating sets and runs of tiles, with the goal of being the first player to get rid of all their tiles. The game features a unique tile-matching system, where players can create combinations of three or more tiles in a row to earn points.
