Maison Ikkoku: Omoide no Photograph is a Japanese menu-based graphical adventure game based on the Maison Ikkoku anime and manga series. Players control Yusaku Godai, who needs to find a secret photograph hidden away by the manager. Godai must bribe the inhabitants of the house, which constantly move around, to get access to Kyoko's room. However, even if Godai reaches the manager's room and tries to look at the framed photo, something will always happen forcing him to leave. After multiple attempts, Godai decides to gather photos of all the inhabitants to persuade Kyoko to show him the photo.
The gameplay involves navigating between locations in the boarding house and town, constantly running out of money, and interacting with the cast from the original comic book, including Nikaido, who was not part of the anime. Players must make decisions that will impact the story and relationships with the characters.
