Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II is a home sequel to the classic arcade racing game, based on Ayrton Senna 's impressive racing career. The game is viewed from within the cockpit and uses sprites rather than polygons for depiction.
There are three main modes in the game: Senna GP , World Championship , and Free Practice . In Senna GP, players compete on three non-championship circuits with a preliminary race followed by three laps. The World Championship mode features a full 16-race season with two difficulty levels: Beginner and Master.
The Master mode introduces groups of cars, where the player starts on a lower competitive team and must challenge other drivers to climb the ranks and win the championship. In this mode, races are longer, and pit-stops are activated if the player knocks on too many objects or other cars frequently.
