Oddworld: Soulstorm is a platformer game that follows the story of Abe, a Mudokon slave who lives on a plant-based factory called Funland. Abe is captured by the evil corporate entity, RuptureFirm, and must navigate through various levels to escape and free his fellow slaves. Along the way, he must confront the evil forces of the corporation and make difficult choices that affect the fate of his world.

The gameplay in Oddworld: Soulstorm is fast-paced and challenging, requiring players to control Abe as he navigates through increasingly complex levels. The game features a variety of abilities, such as jumping, wall-climbing, and using objects in the environment to solve puzzles. Players must also manage Abe's hunger meter, which depletes when he eats nothing, causing him to become weak and vulnerable to enemies.
