Prodeus

The game features a lot of gore and incorporates a dismemberment system based on the targeting, as well as a dynamic heavy metal soundtrack. The main campaign consists of several levels linked through an overworld map, with some freedom for the path. There is some gating based on a number of runes that need to be collected. Progression inside a level often involves finding keys and there are also various secrets.

The game features a wide range of weapons such as a shotgun, rocket launcher, grenade launcher, swarmer, plasma rifle, void cannon, arc rail, and more. These are grouped based on the ammo type and several variations are unlocked gradually. There is a reload system and all weapons have an alternative firing mode.

The game includes a level editor, allowing players to create and share their own maps with the community. Community-created maps can be shared and downloaded from within the game.
