Robot Tank is a first person perspective arcade style action game where you command a robot tank to stop enemy tanks from destroying everything in their path. There are twelve squadrons of tanks to destroy, each containing twelve tanks. Destroying a complete squadron earns you an extra reserve tank before moving on to the next, more difficult one. The game takes place twenty four hours a day, with gameplay alternating between early morning, mid afternoon, and late at night.

The weather can also change unexpectedly, bringing snow, rain, and fog that makes it tougher to spot your targets. Luckily, your tank is equipped with radar to help locate the enemy when visibility is poor. However, as your tank takes damage, you will lose some capabilities, such as speed or cannons. If your tank takes too much damage, it will be destroyed, and the game ends when all of your reserve tanks are gone.

The gameplay of Robot Tank is fast-paced and action-packed, requiring quick reflexes and strategic thinking to overcome the enemy tanks. With its simple yet challenging design, Robot Tank is a classic arcade experience that still holds up today.
