Arc the Lad II continues the story of the first game, but from a different perspective. You control Elk, a bounty-hunter suffering from amnesia, as he searches for his true identity. Along the way, he discovers hidden powers and uncovers the destiny of his tribe. Elk's quest leads him to meet Arc, the hero of the first game, who also seeks to destroy their common enemy.
The gameplay in Arc the Lad II builds upon the battle system of its predecessor, with a greater emphasis on RPG elements. You can move your characters around the battlefield and take damage based on your proximity to enemies. The game also allows for exploration of the world, visiting towns and dungeons, providing a more immersive experience.
