Gran Turismo 2 is the second game in the Gran Turismo series of racing games exclusively for the PlayStation. The racing game features 20 tracks and over 400 vehicles, an arcade mode and a simulation mode, and also supports two-player split screen racing. It's the first GT game to feature rally racing.
The story follows the player as they attempt to become the champion of the Gran Turismo World Rally Championship. The player must navigate through various tracks and opponents, using their driving skills to achieve victory.
The gameplay in Gran Turismo 2 is focused on realistic racing simulation, with an emphasis on speed, handling, and strategy. Players can choose from a variety of vehicles, each with its own strengths and weaknesses, and compete against AI opponents or other players in multiplayer mode.
