Fhey Area is a traditional Japanese-style RPG set in a medieval world. You control Raphael, a young man living with his mother in the village of Serdia. A queen's visit to the village sparks an investigation into Raphael's past and his connection to a legendary hero.
The game features turn-based combat on the world map, where you visit towns, buy equipment, and fight random enemies and bosses. During battles, character portraits change based on actions taken during combat. The game also includes animated sequences, such as an opening sequence.
