The world has been devastated by a catastrophic event known as "The Faro Plague", which wiped out most of humanity. A new era has begun, where humans live in tribes and must fight to survive against robotic creatures, known as "Machines". The story follows Horizon Zero Dawn , a young hunter named Aloy, who sets out on a journey to uncover the secrets of her past and the truth about the world she lives in.

Aloy's journey takes her across a vast open world, where she must navigate treacherous landscapes, avoid deadly Machines, and battle against rival tribes. Along the way, she discovers new technologies and allies that aid her in her quest for knowledge and survival.


