Mushihimesama Futari , a port of the 2006 arcade shooter, is a sequel to Mushihimesama . Players control one or two characters as they shoot down waves of insect-themed enemies and navigate through increasingly intense patterns of deadly bullets. In addition to standard weaponry, players have access to limited screen-clearing bombs for more desperate situations.
The game includes the direct port of the arcade version, as well as Xbox 360 and arrange versions in three levels of difficulty. A score-attack mode is available, along with the option to save replays. Each character has several shooting styles that change depending on the selected mode. The game also features extensive video options, including the ability to magnify specific parts of the screen.
First-run copies included a download code for the added "Ver1.01" mode. The exceptionally-difficult "Black Label" mode is available as a downloadable extra.
