Pocket Reversi is an updated version of the popular strategy game, now on a handheld console. Players can choose from various modes, including Tournament Mode where they'll face off against eight increasingly challenging opponents in a series of matches. This single-player mode tests their skills and provides feedback through an 'Ability Level Test', which assigns a grade based on performance.
The game also features a learning tool for newcomers, called 'Reversi Lesson', which breaks down the basics of the game into ten short tutorials. Another option is 'Free Play', where players can see all possible moves and even undo their last step. A two-player mode is accessible via the link cable, allowing friends to compete against each other on-the-go.
