Axis and Allies is a digital conversion of the board game of the same name, set during World War II. Players take on the roles of Germany, Japan, USSR, USA and UK, with less than five players the AI assumes the remaining superpowers. The game allows for either cooperative or competitive play.
The gameplay involves turn-based strategy where the objective is to conquer enemy territories. Conflicts are resolved through the rolling of dice. The game features real combat footage from World War II, displayed during these conflicts.
