Brain Strainers is a collection of two separate games/learning tools.
The first game, Follow The Leader , involves following a pattern displayed on screen. A sequence of 4-color circles is repeated and the player must replicate it by listening to or watching the colors change. As difficulties increase, so does the speed of the sequence and the amount of time the player has to identify the notes correctly.
The second game, Clef Climber , challenges the player to match a musical note being played to a corresponding tone. Lower difficulties provide both an audible tone and visual cues to help with the task, while higher difficulties make the task more challenging by removing these aids.
