The classic game of Uno 52 comes to life on the Game Boy Advance with different game modes. Players can customize the entire game setup based on the number of players, individual customization, game type, number of cards, alternate cards and house rules. The predefined game types include:* Endless: no win conditions and endless rounds. Between each round chips, pot wins, first-out wins and poker hand wins are shown.
The gameplay varies depending on the chosen mode. In some modes, players must earn chips to win, while in others, they can win by going out first or achieving a specific poker hand.
There are also four special modes available:* Challenge Mode: play five unique or randomly-generated levels with different win conditions.* Endurance Mode: maximize the score without running out of chips.* Timed Mode: earn as much as possible before time runs out.* Solitaire Mode: play all cards in a twist on the classic card game.
All the classic cards are available as well as the alternate poker rules for cards. Wireless multiplayer is supported for up to four players, which is generally a port of the GBA release with stretched screens and ported sound. The number 52 in the title refers to the included game variation.
