Bibi Blocksberg Bibbi Blocksberg is an apprentice witch who lives in the common world of today. She has to go through various adventures as she tries to live a normal life. The story begins with a lightning bolt striking and breaking a crystal ball into seven parts, causing all the witches in the community to become mad.

The game is an action-adventure where Bibi Bibbi Blocksberg has to find all the parts of the broken crystal ball to restore the witches' sanity. Each level represents one witch and one part of the crystal ball, filled with monsters that harm Bibi if she touches them. She can restore her health by finding sweets hidden in the levels. There are also helpful persons that aid her on her quest.

As Bibi Bibbi Blocksberg progresses through the game, she will encounter magical items that expand her powers, such as a broom that allows her to fly. These items require her to complete mini-games or challenges before gaining access to them. The magic comes with limited magical energy that can be recharged by finding pulsating dots.

Throughout the game, players can use passwords to skip certain sections or restart from specific points, allowing for more flexibility in playing the game.
