Conker's Pocket Tales follows the story of Berri, a squirrel who wants to throw a surprise birthday party for her boyfriend Conker. However, things take a turn when the Evil Acorn breaks up the party and abducts Berri along with all the presents. Without hesitation, Conker sets out on a quest to rescue his sweetheart and retrieve the stolen presents.
The gameplay in Conker's Pocket Tales is focused on top-down action, where players control Conker as he navigates through various levels. Armed with a slingshot, players must battle against enemy creatures such as mutant plants and snakes to progress through the game. Along the way, they will encounter mini-games that test their skills in different areas, including Olympic-style events.
