F1 World Grand Prix is a racing game for the Game Boy Color. The story follows the Formula One world championship in the '99 season, featuring all drivers, teams, and tracks licensed by the FIA. Players take on the role of their favourite driver, competing in various modes such as exhibition, Grand Prix, time attack, challenge, and match race.
Gameplay involves adjusting car settings before each race, including tyres, gears, wings, and fuel load, which can be changed during pit stops. The game also features variable weather conditions, adding an extra layer of realism to the racing experience. Additionally, a two-player mode allows for head-to-head competition using a link cable.
