Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Captain Toad is on a treasure-hunting adventure, exploring various levels to collect valuable items. He visits different worlds, each with its own story and goals to complete.

The player takes control of Captain Toad or his sister Toadette as they navigate through mazes, platforms, and tunnels to reach the golden star at the end of each level. The main objective is to fulfill specific tasks, such as collecting a certain number of coins or defeating enemies, to earn rewards.

Captain Toad can't jump, but he has access to special tools like turnips and pickaxes that can be used to defeat enemies or break blocks. The WiiU GamePad plays a key role in gameplay, allowing players to tilt the device to change the view, touch and rotate certain platforms, and more.

As Captain Toad progresses through the levels, he may encounter mine carts that require players to shoot at objects as they move towards the golden star. The game also includes features like invincibility mushrooms that can be unlocked after repeated failures.

The 3DS and Switch versions of the game feature new levels based on Super Mario Odyssey, including ones that can be unlocked using specific Amiibo figures. These additional levels provide a fresh challenge for players.
