Cubic Ninja

Cubic Ninja is an action-puzzle game that makes use of the Nintendo 3DS's tilt-control abilities, rather than its 3D capabilities. The gameplay involves guiding a small ninja through various stages, using tilting to navigate through obstacles and reach the exit. Unlike other puzzle games, Cubic Ninja focuses on physical movement and timing, requiring players to tilt the console in different directions to drop the ninja through traps and dangers.

The story revolves around CC, a cube-shaped ninja who sets out to rescue a princess from "lab-coated bandits". The game takes place in the bandit's hideout, which can be accessed using information obtained online. As players progress through the levels, they must avoid deadly traps and enemies while also making use of power-ups found in rest rooms. Boss battles are also present, requiring players to tilt the console to cause harm to the boss characters.

CC is not an ordinary ninja, as he possesses special skills that can be unlocked by collecting ninja scrolls hidden throughout each level. These skills include shrinking, switching all switches, shooting stars, and gaining a protective shield. Players can also earn rewards for completing levels quickly or with minimal deaths. The game offers various options, including the use of the Circle Pad and 3D, as well as Time Attack and Survival modes.

The game features a level creator that allows players to create and share custom stages using QR codes. The level creator is unlocked as players progress through the main game, and new pieces can be added to create even more challenging levels. Players can also share their best times and ghostly runs with others, adding an extra layer of competition to the game.
