Players can soar through the air in various aircraft, including plane, hang glider, and rocket belt, each with its unique controls and challenges. As you explore the island, you'll unlock new vehicles to add to your collection.

The game is divided into two main modes: Free Flight Mode and Mission Mode. In Free Flight Mode, collect items like dioramas and plane models to earn more time to explore the island. In Mission Mode, complete objectives like flying through hoops or landing in precise spots to earn stars, which contribute to your rank and unlock new challenges.

Take your in-game photos with you on-the-go and save them to your 3DS photo album for sharing with friends. As a launch title worldwide except Japan and Oceania, Pilotwings Resort brings an exciting update to the Pilotwings series.
