Kao Challengers is an action-adventure game that brings the popular platformer series to the PlayStation Portable. The story follows Kao as he navigates through various worlds, collecting power-ups and fighting enemies in his quest for victory.

The gameplay of Kao Challengers offers a variety of modes to play with friends or solo. In multiplayer mode, players can engage in deathmatch battles using one of four characters on ten arenas, armed with an array of weapons such as rockets and flamethrowers. Alternatively, players can compete in racing mode, choosing from three vehicles and racing over five different tracks.
