Virtua Tennis: World Tour is a sports game for the PSP console where you can play tournaments against professional players, practice in exhibition matches and participate in a world tour. In this mode, you can create and fully customize your own star player, with all popular moves available such as topspin, lob, slice, smash, serve, drop shot and aftertouch.

Virtua Tennis: World Tour also features a world tour where you build a house on the world map and then travel around the globe to different events to build up your reputation. You can buy new gear, purchase partner contracts and stage contracts, and improve your skills through training games that test specific abilities such as footwork, strokes, volleys and serves.

The game also includes ball games such as Blockbuster, Fruit Dash, Blocker and Balloon Smash where you use your tennis skills in different environments. You can choose from fourteen licensed tennis stars to play as, with mixed doubles matches available in multiplayer mode for up to four players through Wi-Fi.
