Earthworm Jim 2 follows the story of an ordinary earthworm named Jim, who leads a normal life until he is struck by a high-tech space suit. The suit transforms Jim, giving him control over it. With his new powers, Jim embarks on exciting adventures.
The gameplay of Earthworm Jim 2 is similar to the first game, with Jim running and jumping through levels. There are five additional weapons to collect compared to the original game. Characters from previous games also make appearances in this sequel.
