Earthworm Jim 2 is an action-packed adventure that follows the story of an ordinary earthworm named Jim, who leads a mundane life until he is struck by a powerful Ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit. Jim finds himself at the center of a radical transformation, gaining control over the suit and embarking on a thrilling journey.
Players take on the role of Earthworm Jim 2 's protagonist, navigating through levels with Jim's newfound abilities. The gameplay is reminiscent of its predecessor, with an emphasis on running and jumping, as well as collecting five new weapons to aid in progress. Characters from the original game also make appearances, adding a touch of nostalgia to the experience.
