Air Raid 3 lets players become a jet fighter pilot with numerous missions all over the world. The gameplay is similar to that of other dogfighting games, as it is primarily focused around engaging in aerial combat versus a range of other aircraft in the sky and achieving mission-based objectives such as blowing up a certain building or defeating a number of enemy aircraft.
The game was also reskinned as Combat Ace , with the jet fighter replaced by a biplane, and its sounds altered to reflect this change. It was again reskinned as Space Rebellion , with the vehicle now being a spaceship and the game having an outer space motif.
Air Raid 3 was released on the Playstation 2 in November 2000.
