Deadly Skies III , a simulation game for the Playstation 2, follows the story of two pilots, Mike Dawson and Jack Cooper, as they attempt to escape from a hijacked plane. The plane is heading towards a remote island, where the hijackers plan to make a stand against the authorities. As the pilots try to outsmart their captors, they must also navigate through treacherous weather conditions and enemy fighters.

Gameplay involves flying missions in a single-seat fighter jet, completing objectives such as escorting other planes or destroying enemy aircraft. The game features realistic flight dynamics and a variety of weapons and upgrades can be purchased using in-game currency. Players can choose to fly alone or team up with friends online for multiplayer missions.

Deadly Skies III was released on January 2001 for the Playstation 2.
