Silent Scope 3 brings back the sniper action to the PlayStation 2. Your mission is to stop a terrorist organization from using cloning technology to destroy the world. You'll need to take out enemy targets and boss characters to save the day.
The gameplay in Silent Scope 3 offers two different experiences. The first is an arcade-style game called Silent Scope EX, which has been recreated for the PS2. The main event is a new PS2-exclusive version that includes fresh levels, characters, and more to challenge you.

Game Guide
Extracted from the original game manual
This is a light gun shooter where players embody a lone elite operative tasked with rescuing a kidnapped scientist from a terrorist organization. You'll use a sniper scope to eliminate enemies and complete missions.
Story
Story
Dr. Scott, a leader in clone research connected to a national project, was kidnapped. Fearing misuse of cloning technology and leaked state secrets, the government dispatched a group to find him.
The search revealed that a wealthy terrorist organization had kidnapped the doctor. Despite extensive government resources, his location remained unknown.
One year after his disappearance, the government uncovered information on the terrorist organization's bases. A mission was launched to rescue the doctor and cripple the organization.
Colonel Robert, a Marine, personally requested to command this critical mission. He activated a hand-picked elite special unit.
To prevent public alarm about the misuse of cloning technology, a large-scale operation was not possible. The colonel had to entrust this critical assignment to a single man.

Story (SILENT SCOPE EX)
The story unfolds as you clear the missions you have been assigned. The game is over when your life becomes zero.
Your life decreases over time, so it is imperative that you take out enemies quickly. Your life also decreases when you are hit by enemy fire or when you accidentally shoot an innocent bystander.
Your life will slightly recover by defeating enemies, and will significantly recover if you defeat an enemy by exploiting its weakness or by finding Life-up Girls that appear during the game.

Aim and shoot each of the targets as they appear. If you defeat all the targets within the time limit, the drill is completed. If you go over the time limit, the session ends in failure.
Upon completion of the drill, any remaining time is added to your score. Only aim for targets that are armed. The number of points varies depending on the accuracy of your shot.
Mistakenly shooting an ordinary civilian will result in a large penalty to your score.

Tips & Maps
HARBOR
In this early stage, enemies won't notice if you miss, so you can practice your aim or just observe the terrorists through your scope.
RESEARCH LAB
Terrorists are using lab technicians as human shields, so aim carefully; a missed shot will alert enemies and bring reinforcements.
CASINO
This stage is set in a casino with ordinary civilians, so avoid shooting them and be careful not to mistake them for terrorists.
DAM
From a helicopter circling above, you must pick off terrorists on the ground, so use the "Decrease Scope Speed Button" for long-range marksmanship.
CANAL
You take shots from a speeding motorboat, but targets are relatively close, making it easy to line them up if you stay relaxed.
OIL RIG
Aiming from a helicopter is difficult, so get a feel for bullet trajectory; failure to eliminate enemies early will lead to a massive offensive later.
IRONWORKS
Security is tight, and enemies will sound an alert if they discover a fallen comrade, so pick off enemies when others are not looking and plan your attack order.
