IHF Handball Challenge 14 is a handball sports game and the second in the series, following IHF Handball Challenge 12 . As a licensed game, it offers 80 clubs from the 2013-2014 season for the leagues Ligue Nationale de Handball (France), DKB Handball-Bundesliga (Germany) and Liga ASOBAL (Spain), as well as 30 national teams, and live commentary in three languages (German, French and English). Players can create their own leagues, players, and teams, and build a career for an entirely new player. It is possible to design custom tournaments and play with up to four players simultaneously.

The game features seven arenas with different types of flooring. The controls are based on offensive or defensive positions. When attacking, players can jump, throw, pass, and perform body fakes. They also have sprinting and alternative throws. Defending players can push, block, hold, and change players. It is possible to provoke an offensive foul, intercept, and sprint. The tactical approach can be changed immediately during a game. There are now intro and outro scenes for each match.
