LEGO Rock Band is a unique blend of Rock Band and the popular LEGO series. Players create their own band and hire members to join them, allowing for endless character customization options.

The main game features players touring around the world, performing at various locations, and completing special levels that require outrageous tasks. As players progress through song lists, they earn "Studs", which can be used to purchase Lego items, hire new staff, buy clothes, or instruments.
