Dark Souls III is the fourth entry in the Souls franchise, with Demon's Souls being its spiritual predecessor. The game features numerous references to previous entries, including old NPCs, familiar locations, and items. This depth of lore adds complexity to the story.
The gameplay remains faithful to the series, while also drawing influences from Bloodborne . Players can choose one of 10 available classes, customize their character's appearance, and engage in planned blocking and dodging to counterattack.
