Ninja Blade

The village of South America is attacked by unknown creatures, leading to a discovery of a new type of hook worm that spreads through the blood stream and turns people into stronger monsters. The situation is quickly contained by the G.U.I.D.E.-squad, but another outbreak occurs in 2015 in Tokyo, where the parasites spread rapidly.

The player takes on the role of Ken Ogawa and navigates nine long levels, using his three types of swords and a throwing star to deal with infected enemies. The game features combo-based gameplay and upgradeable weapons, including a throwing star that gains additional abilities throughout the game. There are also jump-'n'-run elements and Quick Time Events, which require the player to follow on-screen instructions to progress through levels.

The game's design combines action-adventure gameplay with interactive movie elements, featuring constantly switching between combat and Quick Time Events. The difficulty level of these events can be adjusted independently from normal gameplay. The player's performance is rated at the end of each level, rewarding them with additional Blood Crystals or customization options.
