Gravity Rush is an action game set in a free open world to be explored. The game's story is set in a town called "Hekseville". Player controls a little girl named Kat, who does not remember anything about her own past. One day, a mysterious black cat gives her the power to control gravity. Kat tries to rebuild the city destroyed by the mysterious gravitational vortices and hostile gelatin creatures. The game follows Kat's journey as she masters gravity and navigates through the world.
The gameplay in Gravity Rush focuses on exploration and combat. With the gyroscope of the PlayStation Vita, players can aim the camera to desired points, allowing for precise platforming and combat. Kat can jump between platforms, throw punches to defeat enemies, and solve puzzles to progress through the game.
