Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story is a side-scrolling action game where Bruce Lee travels through different environments, fighting enemies using his unique combat style. The player can control Bruce's movements and attacks, including Punch, Roundhouse Kick, and Low Kick, by pressing the direction button at the right moment. Power-ups are hidden throughout the levels and can be activated by attacking them. The game features a health meter that decreases when Bruce loses a life.
