Line of Fire , released in 1979 for the Sega Master System , is an action-packed game that puts you in the shoes of Jack, a man who must navigate through enemy territory to uncover a secret weapon. The story takes a thrilling turn as Jack becomes the target of disgruntled enemy soldiers who will stop at nothing to reclaim their "toy". You'll control Jack in his armoured jeep as he navigates six levels, with the gameplay unfolding from a top-down perspective that scrolls vertically.

The Line of Fire experience is all about precision and strategy. The jeep is equipped with an unlimited arsenal of bullets and 50 missiles per mission, which can be used to take out airborne targets. However, there's a twist - applying "aftertouch" to guide missiles towards their target requires careful timing and movement. The game also features obstacles like rivers that require the jeep to jump over, adding an extra layer of challenge. With three difficulty levels to contend with, including vehicles that can take multiple hits and three lives per continue, you'll need to stay focused to succeed.
