Two mega corporations, CyberTech Industries and Axiom, are locked in a battle for control over a polluted planet. Axiom accuses CyberTech of being responsible for their president's death and seeks revenge by injecting the company's leader, Anton Korsby, with a deadly virus.
Microcosm is a 3D action shooter that takes place within Korsby's body. The game was inspired by the 1966 movie Fantastic Voyage. Players pilot their way through various parts of the anatomy, fighting off viruses and enemy ships while collecting power-ups and upgrading their craft. The ultimate goal is to reach the brain and stop Grey M, the entity controlling Korsby's body.
Microcosm features full-motion video, high-resolution fractal graphics, digital music, and sound effects, creating a immersive experience within the human body.
